Arguements About the Death Penalty

Just in the United States, 35 states still utilize the death sentence, so 13 states do not carry out the practice and 2 are undecided. Which brings the question: why do some places use it and why do others not? It is not only based on the notion of money or what is convienent but morals, ethics, and the views of the people.
. An accepted idea by most of society is that the punishment must fit the crime, so the judicial system believes that if a person murders many or even just one person they should probably be under capital punishment
. Being just put in jail can give the person who has committed a crime parole giving other chances to commit more crimes, the death sentence obviously does not let this happen.
. Death penalty is meant to "scare" murders. Just think would you rather be in jail or dead? The worse is the latter, most people fear death. And with the use of dying less people will probably murder. The homicide rates in places without death penalty is double of that with.
. The physicians some people say should not be seen as a killer but helping keep others alive. Thye are able to use a more humane and less vulgar way to keep the justice. Some doctors even believe the AMA should be changed to permit  helping capital punishment.

. A large fight against capital punishment is that it is just simply barbaric to put someone on death role because of a crime. It's said to go against the Bill of Rights "cruel and unusual" clause.
. How does one judge who gets the death penalty? How many does one have to kill or how many crimes do they have to committ? With so much thrown up in air it is unfair on how to judge who is and is not executed and this does not settle well with most people.
. It is against a doctor's sworn oath to use their practice for the killing of an individual any under circumstances. Doctors cannot carry out lethal injections, taking any aprt in lethal injections, or monitoring any death-it goes against "do no harm"
. It is only really the unwealthy and poor that are getting the death penalty. There are not many seen wealthy and rich people going up for death row, take OJ Simpson for example-he murdered but he had money so he is still alive. This is an unrepresented practice and it is unfair.
